Good meals, easy to use

I got the Mac & Cheese and some Blueberry Mini Muffins for my little one, and they were a hit! I was a bit worried about getting ready meals, but these looked and smelled fresh. It was so easy just to heat them up, and my kiddo gobbled them down. Really saved me on a busy weeknight. Will probably order again soon.

Detailed thoughts on my first order

I decided to try the Weaning Starter Pack for my 9-month-old. Ordering was straightforward on their website; the navigation was clear. Delivery arrived two days earlier than the tracking said, which was a pleasant surprise. The packaging was robust, and everything was still perfectly frozen. I tried the Lentil Dahl and the Fruit Purees first. The Lentil Dahl had a good consistency and no strong spices, which is great for little ones. My baby enjoyed the purees too. I appreciate that they list all the ingredients clearly and explain how to reheat safely. The trays are also recyclable, which is a big plus for me. Overall, a very solid first experience, and it's nice to have some healthy options on hand that I don't have to cook myself.

Detailed feedback on first order

I placed my first order for the Weaning Starter Pack. The website was easy to navigate, and checkout was smooth. I received email updates about my order status, which was helpful. The box arrived well-insulated with dry ice, and all the meals like Fruit Purees and Finger Foods were perfectly frozen. My 10-month-old enjoyed the Sweet Potato Pancakes, but wasn't too keen on the Lentil Dahl. Reheating instructions on the trays were clear and simple. I appreciated that they are low salt. I did have a question about pausing a future subscription, and customer service responded within a few hours with clear instructions. Quality seems good, and it definitely saves time.

Love these meals!

Oh my goodness, Pots for Tots is a lifesaver! I ordered the Shepherd's Pie and some Oat Bars, and my little one absolutely loved them. It makes meal times so much easier for me, and I know I'm giving him something healthy. The food tastes really fresh, not like typical frozen meals. I'm definitely going to get a subscription box next time! This is fantastic.

Good value with the first order

I was looking for some healthy meal options for my kiddo that wouldn't break the bank. I saw they had a first box discount, so I decided to try the Veggie Pasta and some Finger Foods. The discount made it really affordable, and I felt I got a good amount of food for what I paid. The quality was decent, and my child ate them without complaint. Definitely felt worth the purchase for the convenience and the savings.

Good variety, slight delivery issue

I ordered the Variety Box for my 18-month-old. The meal selection was really good, with things like Mac & Cheese and Mild Chicken Curry. My toddler ate most of them without fuss, which is a win. Delivery was a bit slow; it arrived a day later than the original estimate. The packaging was good, keeping everything frozen solid. Overall, it's a decent option for busy parents, but they could improve on delivery consistency. The price felt fair for the convenience and quality.

Mostly good, some small issues

I bought a Toddler Meal Bundle which included the Chicken and Veggie Risotto and the Sweet Potato Pancakes. The food itself is really good quality; my child enjoyed both, and it's a relief to know they're getting nutritious meals. Delivery was on time, and the meals were well-packaged. My only minor gripe is that the website could be a little clearer on how many portions are in each meal. It was a bit of guesswork for my first order, but I figured it out eventually. Overall, a good experience and good value.

Great value for a new parent

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for something affordable. I got the Toddler Meal Bundle when there was an introductory offer, which made it much more budget-friendly. The saving felt significant, especially compared to buying individual meals elsewhere. We tried the Beef Stew and Shepherd's Pie. My little one actually finished the Beef Stew! The overall cost for the convenience was worth it, even without the first-order discount I would consider it. It saved me a lot of cooking time. Definitely a good value for the quality.

Consistent quality, reliable service

This was my third order from Pots for Tots. I got the Chicken and Veggie Risotto and some Oat Bars this time. Just like previous orders, everything arrived well-packaged and frozen. The quality of the food has been consistent each time, which is why I keep coming back. My daughter always enjoys the Oat Bars. It's reliable for busy weeks, and I know what to expect. No issues with delivery or product quality on any of my orders so far.

i'm trying to decide between these guys and Mamamade. anyone tried both and have thoughts?

B Beth 1 month ago
I've done both! Pots for Tots feels a bit more like 'real' food, less pureed, which my kid preferred. Portions were good too.

Mamamade was fine, but I think Pots for Tots has a better variety of actual meal-type stuff, especially for older toddlers. Plus, the packaging felt a bit sturdier.

How long do these meals last in the freezer? Wanna stock up when there's a good sale but need to know if they'll go bad.

C Cody Kim 2 months ago
They last ages in the freezer! Like, 3 months easy. I've had some for even longer without any issues.

Mine usually last a good few months, like 2-3 months at least. You can definitely stock up if you have the freezer space.

Anyone know if they deliver to Miami, Florida? Trying to find something healthy for my picky eater.

N Nick 2 months ago
Uhm, I don't think they ship to the US at all? I'm in California and couldn't get anything last time I checked.

Nah, pretty sure Pots for Tots is a UK company. You might be out of luck for Miami. Check their delivery info tho, maybe things changed.

hey, was looking at the sweet potato pancakes for my 10 month old. are these okay for little ones or more for older toddlers?

T Tara 2 months ago
Yeah, they're def good for that age. My niece started on them around 9 months and loved 'em.

G Gwen Carter 2 months ago
They actually say on the site they're good from 9 months plus. I think all their meals are, generally speaking.

Are these really better than something like Mamamade? Or just another one of those pre-made kid food things?

J Julia Reyes 1 month ago
I've tried both and honestly, Pots for Tots seems to have a wider variety for my toddler and the ingredients feel a bit more 'real' if that makes sense. Plus, my kid actually eats it lol.

Mamamade is good but I find the portions here to be better value, and my kid loves the mini muffins. They're both dietitian-developed though so probably similar quality overall.
